Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to full-time / part-time Ph. D. Program (Academic Session 2024-25 Odd Semester) in the following subjects:

Management, Computer Applications, Computer Science & Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Dental Sciences, Biochemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Law, Education, English, Psychology, Mass Communication.

The admission process, eligibility criteria and other norms shall be as per BBDU PhD Regulations 2023 in accordance with University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2022.

Application Process

 

Candidates may apply through both offline and online mode. For offline application, the Application Forms are available from the Accounts Office, BBDU between 10.00 am – 5.00 pm.

The duly filled up admission form along with the required documents can be submitted in the office of the Deputy Registrar, BBDU, Lucknow latest by 05.00 pm on 29.07.2024.

For Online Application, you need to Sign up using the link given on this page. After signing up, please follow the following steps

Step 1. Login with your user ID and password to fill the Online Application. Online Application Confirmation email will be sent after successful submission of the application.

Step 2. After completion of Online Application, you will see the Online Fee Payment link in your login. Make online payment of Application fee by following this link.

Entrance Test & Interview

  1. All the applicants will be required to appear in the Doctoral Program Admission Test. The written test will be held on 06.08.2024.
  2. The written test will consist of multiple choice questions – 50% question shall be on research methodology including general research aptitude, computer skill, etc. and the remaining 50% questions shall be on the subject. The test will be of 90 minutes duration.
  3. The candidates who qualify the written test will be called for an interview to be held on 10.08.2024.
  4. The candidates who have qualified UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR NET/GATE/CEED and similar National level test are exempted from written Test. All such candidates will be called for interview directly.
  5. The candidates are expected to express his/her research interest during the interview. Any candidate who fails to appear in the interview shall not be considered for final selection.

The results will be made available on the University website; individual applicants will not be informed.
